Gerd and Noi discovered Khaolak about 23 years ago. Before, both lived in Phuket and initially visited Khaolak for a camping weekend to visit the untouched beaches and to relax a few days away from the crowds. Both were so impressed by this unspoilt paradise, that they bought some land shortly afterwards to build their future home in Khaolak.
Gerd did build some bungalows despite the fact that there was no tourism in the area at that time. This caused amusement between the local Thais because they considered Gerd's efforts as a waste of time. The laughter stopped shortly afterwards when the first tourists arrived. Today, Khaolak is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in all of Asia, without losing its unique character.
All buidlings are settled amidst a beautiful garden where coconut palm trees and tropical plants flourish. The quiet surrounding area and the short distance of mere 120 meters to the pristine Bangniang Beach will make your stay here most enjoyable. The shops and restaurants of Bangniang are also within easy walking distance.
Besides long term rentals from 3 month to a year or more, we also offer house building projects for which the proud future house owner can decide everything from style over size to comfort and interior of his dream house.
The friendly neighborhood cosnsists of settlers and long term tourists from all over the world. Many of them have turned their dream of an own house in Thailand into reality - when will you join them?

Khaolak Bungalows ( Gerd & Noi ) invite you to stay in one of our comfortable beachfront bungalows or apartments. Our rooms and bungalows are reasonably priced with standard varying from fan bungalow room to deluxe air-condition apartments. The resort is connected to a private beach close to the center of Khaolak.
